DRAWING WITH PENCILS

For my growth in STEM Foundations class I chose drawing and using the pencils. The overall purpose of using pencils was to draw pictures for the storybook. The first thing we did in this process was we tested out all the things we could use to draw or make pictures then we wrote a paper on which one we think was the best. After that we made pictures for every other page in are storybook with pencils. Then we had to get them critiqued and we did that until they were good enough for the book.

For my first artifact I chose the first draft of the picture I made. You can see that when I first started I wasn’t very skilled with the pencils but as I progressed I got better. This was for the storybook project. So in this project we made a story and critiqued it until it was good. Then we worked on the pictures and got it critiqued until it was good enough for the book.

For my second artifact I chose the final draft of the picture I made. This shows growth because in the first picture you can see how I didn’t have bold lines and it was messy and not very clean. But as I progressed the lines were more bold and clean and it wasn’t messy at all. For the storybook project we had to make a story with a partner and send it out to a buisness or school we chose. After we made the story we started working on the pictures and we started getting them critiqued until they were perfect then we put them into are storybook.
