MATH
COLLABORATION

In Ms. Thompson’s math class I think I have grown the most in collaboration. I think this because we recently did a project in her class where we had to make game characters and I had to collaborate with my peers for that project. The purpose of collaborating is to make sure we get along with our peers and make sure we get work done and if you’re working with someone you need to be able to collaborate with them.
For my first artifact I chose my seventh day collaboration log. I chose this because it shows how we all collaborated to make the character. This shows growth in collaboration because if we had not worked together as a team we would not have a successful final draft. For this project we had to create a character and we had to find all the coordinates for him/her/it. Then we had to resize the whole character to make it smaller or bigger than the original. Then are group would check everyone’s coordinates to make sure they were right. After that another group would check our coordinates as we checked their coordinates.
For my second artifact I chose my final draft of my character because if I hadn’t of collaborated with my group it wouldn’t have looked so good. This shows growth in collaboration because if I hadn’t of collaborated with my group I wouldn’t of known what color we were coloring it if we were going to do thin or thick sharpie and little detailed stuff like that. For this artifact we had to find the coordinates for a character then we had to resize him to be bigger or smaller than the original. After that we had to have it critiqued by our group and a different group which also shows I collaborated with a different group not just mine.
